Camera strap covers

I've been asked by a number of people around here if I could make camera strap covers for them. A new challenge involving sewing? Hell ya!, and I also wanted one too. So here it is.

Rice cake plastic pouch

Thought a rice cake plastic bag would make a cute, little, snap button plastic pouch.

The Plastic Project's tag are printed on the back of cereal boxes to continue with the recycling and reusing theme.

Puzzle time

Lucius is at a puzzle phase right now. He absolutely loves them. This Barnyard floor puzzle I got him last summer is the best ever. Big colorful pieces and it all comes in a handy, cute storage case. His record is putting it together and apart five time in a row. That crazy kid. I'm definitely looking into getting him the Vehicle or the Dinosaur one too.


Tomorrow will be a warm -3c. Time to take the boys to play in all that white stuff and build a snowman or two.

Spring = Snow...

In Alberta, Canada anyways. We had such gorgeous, sunny weather the past couple of days and then today it decided to give us a blizzard. I guess those scarves and gloves have to stay in my closet just a bit longer.

Because we didn't have to go anywhere today in this snow, it was actually nice to watch the snowfall through our windows. We got to play, create, watch DVDs, and drink hot chocolate. Good snowday fun!

It's spring break, meaning Darcy is off for this entire week!! More family time, more time for my projects, going up to Edmonton on Thursday, and can you believe Lucius is turning 3 this Friday! My little man is growing up.

Happy Spring!

To celebrate the first day of spring I've been spring cleaning. Sweeping and washing the floors, organizing, and cleaning out cupboards. Feels so good and much needed.

I am so looking forward to be able to put away all the winter gloves, scarves, toques, and to bring out the sandals.
